Nathalie Richard to Co-Drive with Kathy Jarvis in the Tecate SCORE Baja 1000

(7-10-06) Nathalie Richard, the North American Co-driver Rally Champion, has signed on as the “official” co-driver for the “Ironwoman” run with Kathy Jarvis of femmefatale Motorsports.   Nathalie Richard lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and has held the title of the “North American Rally Champion Co-driver” for the past two years.

The Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 has been described as rivaling the Indy 500 and 24 hours of Daytona. This race across Mexico’s Baja Peninsula is unpredictable, grueling and raw.

Kathy Jarvis and Nathalie Richard have teamed up in Rally Racing and have decided to take this dynamic, femmefatale Motorsports duo, to the Baja 1000 event in November driving a Pro-truck. Both women have great respect for each other and both are consummate competitors.

This run for the “Ironwoman” title is all about empowering women to “go for it”, to fulfill their dreams regardless of risks. Kathy and Nathalie understand the risks associated with driving a pro-truck 1000 miles in the desert, mountains and sand dunes of Baja. This race is a full 24 hours of all out competition and the competition is not just with the other competitors, it is also a competition against the relentless, punishing and rough environment of the Baja 1000.
